Jenova Down

So it would seem that Jenova is down. Both the server and the forums are in the pits, nowhere to be found. Apparently a lot of people are shocked about this, but honestly I saw it coming from a mile away. There were arguments literally every day, loads of drama on the inside, and the clan was basically running for itself and didn't give a shit about clients really. It got really bad when they started punishing admins who did good by giving the clients fun activities recently, in direct reference to Worf and other council members punishing The DT for changing the gamemodes to Siege and CTF that one day. It was bound to happen one day, Jenova just had too much shit going on to last much longer. It killed itself. Now I guess the only question is whether they'll try to come back or not.

EDITTED UPDATE: Forums are still up actually. Worf made a topic on their forums explaining the situation. I just read it myself, seems like a bunch of bullshit to me.

this makes our options very slim.  Im srsly pissed that we werent told about this earlier since we make up a significant portion of the server population, and I talk to pretty much all the JW council members on a regular basis.  I knew things were bad, but this took it to an entirely new level.

Looks like EW is it, thats the last server.  Unless Mandos start up one themselves, but as history has proven atleast a dozen times, we're terrible at running servers and attracting players

EW was fine today we had atleast 7 mandos on and they were all newer recruits. Despair donated some of his maps to EW so the rotations aren't so shitty. I think DT said JW is gone for good because Worf and Rinzler deleted all the files for the server. Anyways, EW is an okay server to play on especially since it really has no laming rules. The only problem I have with it is the maps being so shitty and having 1000 ents on each one making the server lag. Otherwise the server is really fun. We just got to hope that Elite Wolves doesn't die because its pretty much the last stronghold for Lugormod. I wouldn't be too sad if Lugor ceased to exist because it's days on JKA are pretty much numbered same with JKA itself.

If we hold out for another year we may be able to move to Battlefront 3 that would be a really fun star wars game idk about you guys.

i cant believe i say it but any lugormod server is better than jw

^ the clan in general was shit with the exception of a few good admin. The map rotations felt like centuries and the map time were too short. The rules were retarded etc.

Yeah battlefront seems like a really good idea. I've been playing battlefront 2 online for the past few days.

I think I'm going to try to host a server for us, but unfortunately, I haven't had experience with lugor since 2009-10.

I've been playing Battlefront 2 but my game is pirated so I cant play online lol

there isnt a game out there that we all agree to play on, and if there was i dont think we could keep the clan name 'mandalorian' on a non starwars game

who does not agree to battlefront?

Thing is, i still got my server up. Howver, i should add a few things about it:

1: Its still got the maps i once map (at least a few, that i know of)
2: I dont have the time to actually manage all the stuff.
3: Its European based.
4: Since the sourcecode got released, lots of players know exploits, and im not the programmer to try and make fixes for em to put on the server.

I used this server a while back to build some maps for other servers (including JW) 

So basically, i could open it up again, but i would need help from others to actually finish some maps and admin and whatnot, because, like i said, i just dont have the time for it.
