MBII Problems

did you try openjk?

yeh, doesnt work any better it just has animation glitches but ever since i re-installed it doesnt work at all

The animations are screwed up because you did not put the z_BaseAssets.pk3 file in the base folder. Unfortunately the launcher does not do that automatically, it is something that you will have to go do for yourself. Just go to your MBII folder and CUT, not copy, CUT (move) the z_BaseAssets.pk3 file from that folder into the Base folder.

um also how did you you start openjk did you use the launcher?

no, there was a file and i was curious so i clicked it and it opened OpenJK. however, i do use the launcher for the basic MBII mod. heres a snip of my gamedata folder:

thats where you messed up dude. that exe has messed up anims. use the launcher to run it. tbh you dont need to do anything for openjk after you install mb2, it  comes with all files needed. (except patch)

um also dont forget to patch jka to 1.01 since you reinstalled. maybe you have to do it pre-mb2 install.... im not sure
