Lugormod was a dead but still slightly warm beast when me and Tasmann walked in Lugor's walls. It's not even warm now.

This is general kyton, Im currently pinned down on the toilet. Shitting liquid fire. Need backup asap.

I wish i could've played lugormod when it was active... didnt have the time to with all my school and stuff tho... so sad now...

You really don't. Lugormod wasn't all that good. 90% of people treated it like a glorified chatroom, the last 10% was people who actually fought like the game intended.

No it was 85℅ chatroom 5% people who played the game as it was intended and 5% people who grip spammed and trolled

Dont forget the fact that back then there were no quests, or even worse, banks, to get credits from, there was just 1 stash every couple of minutes that EVERYONE had to fight over, and that stash only had 10 credits per connected player (with the exception of a jackpot every once in a while, where the amount was doubled)...try getting to level 20 with that, i know it took me nearly a full year XD, AND IT WAS AMAZING !

That's not true I am still in love with LMD v1.2.2 and LMD 1.8.3/1.8.9 (tech prof ftw)

and you have to write down your regid otherwise you had to bruteforce each single number with your password...

Fun Fact:
Lugor and Phred implemented their own hashing algorithm, instead of using a popular one, in the early versions of lugormod.
Their hashing algorithm was so weak, that you had alot of collisions (which means: lmdHash(passwordA) equals lmdHash(passwordB))
In the past i've hacked alot of accounts (even admin lvl 1 ones) with '123' or 'asdf' or other passwords  - Don't even think about implementing your own crypto

Have you guys ever played on multiplay.co.uk? pure stash (+ few gambling machines in the bar/casino/pub/...) and almost always ~24/32

What you all liked about the leveling it was not newbie friendly there are nolifers who are in 2days level 40 and newbies who are in 3month level 20 thats not fair but i heard ufo wanna put back the leveling

The amazing thing was, because everyone was going for this single item that gave credits, people actually teamed up and split the earnings, it was almost the only way to actually make it work, cuz ur fucked on ur own basically XD

and its where mandos shined

i was on lugor way back in the day when it was all stash for money but tbh i hadnt really grown attached to it til much later, i do recall run ins with mandos years before i joined though lol.

honestly
lugor was dying but still functional until mandos boycotted jenova server for shad0ws, we made up like 65% of jenovas traffic and after we stopped playing there their activity just plummetted, then they disbanded like 3 months later. lugor has been too damaged to really resurrect since then, as i think for better or worse mandos and jenova represented the last real bit of the non-random lugor community

anyway, lugor was amazing at one point, idk why you guys are talking like we didnt do well or have any fun there together. ive yet to see anything on mb2 half as entertaining as a good day on lugor, and i definitely havent seen the structure that made us great outside of it.

I meant in the comments at the time. I've also been around Lugormod since close to the beginning which was years before I even found Mandos. Also Razot, Noone had level 40 or 20 in a matter of days or even months. All there was, was stashing and stash amounts depend on the amount of people on a server. The only way to thrive in that environment is having or making friends and to do that you had to share the wealth with those friends or your team. Noone made level 40 or 20 (depending on the version) in a short amount of time.


Also fun fact. My brother, Vaapad which a few of you met, was actually the one that came up with the idea of making a bank which for those of you aren't familiar you had to hack a machine and defend it from being hacked to make credits over a period of time.
